ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Havana
Upon arrival at Havana's airport, you will be greeted and transferred by private car to your 5-star hotel. After settling in, you will enjoy a welcome dinner to kick off your Cuban adventure.
Day 2: Havana City & Hemingway's Haunts
Today is dedicated to exploring the soul of Havana. You'll walk through the charming old city streets, visit a traditional cigar factory and the Rum Museum, and explore the city's four main historic squares. The day also includes visits to Ernest Hemingway's favorite hangouts, La Bodeguita del Medio and El Floridita, before concluding with dinner at a restaurant offering sunset views from a historic castle.
Day 3: The Viñales Valley & Cigar Country
Journey west to the picturesque Viñales Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the heart of Cuba's tobacco region. You will visit a traditional cigar plantation to learn about the entire process from planting to rolling, followed by a rustic countryside lunch. The day concludes with a visit to the unique and massive Prehistoric Mural painted on the side of a mogote rock formation.
Day 4: Journey to Cienfuegos & Trinidad
Travel east across the island to the southern coast, first stopping in the elegant city of Cienfuegos. Known as the "Pearl of the South," you'll explore its French-influenced historic center, a UNESCO site, before continuing to the stunning colonial town of Trinidad for your overnight stay.
Day 5: Trinidad & The Legacy of Che Guevara
Explore the cobblestone streets of Trinidad, a perfectly preserved Spanish colonial settlement and UNESCO World Heritage site often called a "living museum." You will also look out over the historic Valley of the Sugar Mills before traveling to Santa Clara to visit the impressive mausoleum and monument dedicated to the legendary revolutionary, Che Guevara. The day ends with your arrival at the beach resort town of Varadero.
Day 6: Relaxation in Varadero
Today is for pure relaxation and enjoyment on the beautiful coast of Varadero. The highlight is a private yacht excursion on the turquoise waters, complete with a tasting of freshly caught lobster for lunch, offering a perfect day of Caribbean bliss.
Day 7: Hemingway's Home & Classic Car Ride
Return towards Havana, stopping first at Finca Vigía, Ernest Hemingway's former home where he wrote some of his most famous works. You'll also visit the nearby fishing village of Cojímar, the inspiration for The Old Man and the Sea. The day culminates back in Havana with an iconic tour in a colorful classic car, cruising along the famous Malecón seaside drive.
Day 8: New Havana & Departure
Spend your final morning exploring New Havana, including the vast Revolution Square with its monuments to José Martí and Che Guevara. After some last-minute souvenir shopping at the San José Craft Market, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
